Sean “Diddy” Combs Announces REVOLT, a New Television Network

It seems as if some rappers are finally making some sound financial investments; Mainly Jay-Z and now Diddy as well. The founder of Bad Boy Worldwide Entertainment Group and Grammy Award winning producer/hip-hop artist just announced that he would be launching a brand new television network, called “REVOLT”. REVOLT is a revolutionary network that allows music artists and viewers to be able to directly engage with the network through social media outlets. In a press release from Bad Boy World Entertainment Group, they described the network:
“The REVOLT platform will exist as an authority in dynamic music content and a destination for conversations around music, artists, and their creations backed by the innovative leadership of Combs. It will be the first music network to truly leverage the power of social media communication tools to fuel the live music dialog and influence music culture and content in real time for the video-centric generation.”
The channel will appear on on Comcast Cable systems between July 2012 and January 2014, with the opportunity to air longer based on demand and success.
